Soi Cowboy, the Red Light District in Bangkok

The lights are indeed red on Soi Cowboy, one of the most (in)famous tourist places from Bangkok.

Thai ladies dressed in skimpy clothes welcome all the tourists who are ready to spend their money on the expensive booze and the girls dancing at the bar!

Good-bye foreign investors!

From what I've seen at the PAD (People's Alliance for Democracy) rally, no wonder all the foreign investors are fleeing Thailand!

Would any investor in the right mind do business in such an unstable country? I wouldn't! But hey, all you PAD people, the farangs have plenty of places to go in the area: China, Vietnam, Singapore etc.

Free the Burmese People

At the PAD rally in Bangkok a farang was wearing...

...a Free the Burmese People T-shirt with a quote from Aung San Suu Kyi.

Before and after

It doesn't matter where these pictures were taken. The situation is the same on any other Bangkok klong (canal).

Before and ...

I wonder where did things go wrong?
